A gasoline line is connected to a pressure gauge through a double-U manometer. The gauge, on an air space, reads 370 kPa. Below the air, water fills the first U; the water surface in the far arm is 45 cm higher than the air–water interface. From there, oil (SG 0.79) runs over a hump and down 50 cm to a mercury (SG 13.6) surface in the second U. The mercury in the other arm of the second U stands 10 cm higher; above it, gasoline (SG 0.70) rises a further 22 cm to the centre of the gasoline line. Determine the gauge pressure of the gasoline line (answer in kPa).
