The speed is restored to 3000 rpm after each cylinder is cut out, and the brake torques measured by the dynamometer are given in the table on the figure. Assuming the pumping and friction losses are the same in every test, determine (a) the indicated power of the engine (answer in kW), (b) the mechanical efficiency (answer in %) and (c) the indicated thermal efficiency with all cylinders firing (answer in %).
